Mentalhealth Match
A therapist-matching platform serving 30,000+ therapists — rebuilt on Next.js 14 with Angular SSR, reaching 85+ PageSpeed and stronger SEO.
- Next.js 14
- Angular SSR
- Node.js
- PostgreSQL
- Prisma
- Redis/BullMQ
- Cloudflare
85+Google PageSpeed on key pages
30,000+therapists supported
The problem
A high-traffic therapist directory needed faster load times, better SEO and crawlability, and reliable background processing as it scaled.
My role
Senior Software Engineer — full-stack development, performance, and SEO.
What I built
Rebuilt the site on Next.js 14 (App Router) and added server-side rendering to the legacy Angular app, with Node/Express and PostgreSQL/Prisma. Introduced Redis/BullMQ queues for cache-purge and bulk image imports, migrated the reporting database from Heroku to Amazon RDS, and tuned Cloudflare CDN caching.
Architecture & stack
- Next.js 14 App Router rebrand + SSR on the legacy Angular app
- Node.js/Express APIs with PostgreSQL + Prisma
- Redis/BullMQ queues for cache purge and bulk image import
- Cloudflare CDN; reporting DB migrated Heroku → Amazon RDS
- Analytics & CRM: Mixpanel, Google Tag Manager, ActiveCampaign
